The Pepys Library at Magdelene College, Cambridge contains the three thousand books donated to the college by Samuel Pepys in 1703. The six volumes of his famous Diary, coded in short hand and Latin are kept here. The building housing the library is in the second courtyard and is open to visitors, usually for two hours a day.
Opening Times: Monday to Saturday, from 15th January 2008 to 15th March 2.30pm - 3.30pm and from 22nd April 2008 - 31st August 2008, 11.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Parties of ten or more by appointment only.
