Pepys House
Pepys House
The house where Samuel Pepys stayed with Uncle Robert when attending Huntingdon Grammar School, survives in the village of Brampton in Cambridgeshire. It has been modernised and extended, but the house Pepys knew can still be seen. The house is owned by the Pepys Trust, and is presently occupied by private tenants. The house cannot, therefore, be visited on a casual basis. If you wish to visit ring the contact number below, giving at least two days notice before your arrival.
Directions: Brampton is just outside Huntingdon. The house is at 44, Huntingdon Road. Click here for an interactive map centred on Brampton..
