The National Meteorological Library And Archive at the Met Office in Exeter offers one of the most comprehensive reference collections on meteorology anywhere in the world. Any member of the public is able to use the library and borrow books from it. Proof of identification and address will be needed by anyone wishing to use the library.
The Exeter headquarters and operations centre is also open to visitors on a restricted basis. Contact the Met Office using contact details below.
The library is open Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. Closed bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
