Historic Accommodation In Colchester: The Red Lion

The Red Lion is a Grade 1 listed building dating to 1465. The hotel stands in the centre of Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town, and the country's first Roman capital. The old Banqueting Hall, which is now the Parliament Restaurant, has a remarkable beamed ceiling.
