Historic Accommodation In West Sussex: The Old Railway Station, Petworth

Until 1894 this hotel was Petworth's railway station. The magnificent guest lounge was formerly the waiting room and has a 20 foot vaulted ceiling. The doors of the lounge open out onto the platform which is one of the venues for breakfast. The dining area backs onto the station master's office, now the station kitchen, and features the original ticket windows.

This is a highly rated hotel and would be a good choice for any visitor. For a railway history enthusiast of course it would be perfect.
