Historic Accommodation in Lockerbie: The King's Arms
The King's Arms Hotel is a 17th Century former coaching inn situated in Lockerbie. The Kings Arms is one of the oldest establishments in Lockerbie. Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed here in 1745 and Sir Walter Scott in 1813.
Evidence of the hotel's coaching days remain in the wide passageway to the stable (the undercover parking area today). The original beamed buildings and tack room are now the Lounge Bar and Buccaneer Restaurant, where today's guests can enjoy bar meals beside log fires or choose from table d'hote and a la carte menus.
